Picnic! At The Park.

Since moving to University I have ventured out to our local park, West Park, several times and each time my flatmates and I have all enjoyed it thoroughly. Whether we have just spent the afternoon walking around or whether we have spent endless hours taking photos - it's been one of my favourite things to do. Though, it seems that every time we plan to go to the park, the weather is awful - and we never get a sunny day...this time...there was no difference.

Whilst walking to the park, the sun was shining and it was beautiful outside, we all walked in our summer clothes, sunglasses on -  we got there, the sun hid behind the clouds. The wind began to pick up, so our sunny, summers picnic was in fact, cold, windy and a bit dreary. Alas, this did not stop any of us from having an absolutely amazing time. From sitting and eating lunch, to playing frisbee with paper plates - to taking typical High School Musical jumping in the air photos, (like this children we are).

So, instead of doing a typical blog post, I just thought I would share a few photos from the day. Though, firstly, I would love to say a HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY to one of my best friends, Shannon, I hope you enjoyed every part of your day and when your actual birthday comes around I hope you are treated like the princess you are! I love you a lot.

Enjoy the photos, I hope they make you smile, just as much as they make me smile.

Thank you all for reading/viewing my day! I hope you enjoy these photos, thanks to Tom, Jake and whomever else took them. See you next time.

A Day at....Cricket?

I've never really wrote a post like this before - but two weeks ago I went to see some of my flatmates at University play cricket (as well as taking over 400 photos for an assignment) and I just thought I would write about it/share my experience/post photos of the day I had - even though it was such a long and tiring day, I actually had a really good day.

The boys whom I live with had single-handedly put together their own team and just spending the day with them, watching them play made me feel somewhat proud of their effort. Originally going there for an assignment, I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. If you know me, you know I am not a sports person, I don't favour a particular sport, nor follow any teams of any sport so this was definitely something new for me. I sat there and watched the boys I had known for 8 months...lose. I know - disappointing right?! (Boys, if you're reading this - I am totally joking). I sat with two of my other flatmates - Tom and Millie - all day and I think we would say we had a surprisingly good day.

So, instead of me rambling about a game I actually have no idea about - here are a few photos of my day. Enjoy!

James practising before the game.

Tom - possibly purposely posing for this photo.

James and Cam asking for numerous photos of themselves.

My favourite photo of the entire day - and of course I a bias as it is my unbelievably gorgeous boyfriend (get me the sick bucket)

The happy couple.

The game in action.

Cameron goofing around - yet again.

Them trying to look 'serious'.
The boys looking incredibly happy after they...lost.

*love heart eyes emoji*

Team photo!

When asking for a 'funny' photo this is what I received.

Yet again - more 'goofing' around.

I apologise if this is an incredibly boring post - I just thought it would be a nice thing for the team to look back through, but also a nice memory for us all. Thanks if you stuck around - no matter how boring. Much appreciated.

Chelsey.
